We are pleased to welcome Ruiling Liu to our team in Vienna. Ruiling recently joined us as a visiting PhD student and will be conducting research using our new dataset, ReSurveyEurope. She has a good background in biological invasions, plant invasions in mountain ecosystems, functional traits, and plant-fungal interactions.
During her time here, she will focus on assessing the long-term impacts of alien plant invasions on native plant communities over the past century, as well as investigating the influence of environmental variables on invasion dynamics.
